Dry Malt Extract
Dry malt extract is a form of malt extract and this form has less liquid content in it. The process of extraction of dry malt extract includes liquefaction of germinated grain, washing, filtering and evaporation. After grounding in hammer, mill malt extract is put in mash tun for more fine form. In the process of mashing the extract is mixed with water that is maintained at certain time and temperature changes. In this process under the influence of natural a and b amylase some starch gets converted into ferment sugar. Sweetener flavors are added to final product.
